LEMON DROP GIRL... 2005 Ch.F by the ever popular and revered Hot sire "Lemon Drop Kid",
sire of graded stakes horses Lemons Forever, Cosmonaut, Cittronade etc.  out of a very good
Broad Brush mare Fabulous Broad, that has produced a good Artax filly. This is a well grown, big
structured  filly, with big hips etc. She won her first start at Calder MSW and then went up to
Saratoga in a stakes race, where she got loose and ran the track. She  then came back to OBS at
the Championship Stakes and did not handle the track well. She had sometime off to mature and
develop and then came back to run a very credetable race after about a year's layoff. Again, this
time off was because she still showed greeness and lack of maturity, that is why the decision was
taken to give her sometime to develop, She is back in training now, moving from Linda Rice to
Wayne Lucas and doing well.

LEMON DROP KID ON A RED-HOT STREAK

Jan. 2, 2008: In 2006, LEMON DROP KID established himself as one of the most exciting young
sires on the scene with nine individual stakes winners, including G1 Kentucky Oaks heroine
Lemons Forever. In 2007, the champion son of KINGMAMBO, a Grade 1 winner at two, three and
four, has truly outdone himself.

At the close of 2007, LEMON DROP KID can boast 14 individual stakes winners on the year, more
than Unbridled's Song, Stormy Atlantic, Thunder Gulch, Street Cry (Ire), Awesome Again, Storm
Cat, and Pulpit. That includes four graded stakes winners, led by the top grass filly Citronnade,
who cemented her status as one of the toughest and most talented turf distaffers in the country
with a resounding win in the G2 Dahlia H. at Hollywood Park Dec. 17. Her 2007 season also
included victories in the G1 Gamely Breeders' Cup S., G2 Beverly Hills H., G2 Santa Ana H., and
G2 San Gorgonio H. The four-year-old now retires to the breeding shed with nine wins and three
seconds in 12 starts and over $850,000 in earnings!

Also in the news recently was LEMON DROP KID's four-year-old Kiss the Kid, a $270,000 yearling
back in 2004, who ran third in the G2 W. L. McKnight H. at Calder Dec. 15.

In addition to Citronnade, another LEMON DROP KID daughter to make a name for herself in 2007
was Christmas Kid, who defeated subsequent MG1SW Octave in the G1 Ashland S. at Keeneland
in April. The victory followed Christmas Kid's wins in the G2 Davona Dale S. on the dirt at
Gulfstream and the Tropical Park Oaks on the turf at Calder and underlined the versatility imparted
to the offspring of LEMON DROP KID. Christmas Kid also registered thirds in the G1 Acorn S. and
the $200,000 Virginia Oaks on the grass at Colonial.

Cosmonaut, a two-time graded winner last term who successfully defended his title in the G3
Arlington H. in July, ran an outstanding race in the G1 Breeders' Cup Mile to be third. Put on the
lead over the boggy sod, he made all the pace and "fought gamely into midstretch, then yielded
grudgingly," according to the chart. Cosmonaut also registered game runner-up finishes in the G1
Shadwell Turf Mile S. and G3 River City H. and has now banked $1,132,763.

And Alpine Garden, a daughter of the Danzig mare Clarinova, came through as the public's choice
with a 1 3/4-length tally in the G3 B.C. Breeders' Cup Oaks in late September.

Other 2007 stakes winners for LEMON DROP KID include Sleeping Indian, a wire-to-wire winner of
Aqueduct's Volponi S.; Lemon Drop Mom, heroine of the Delaware's Ghost and Goblins S.; as well
as our own Woodford Racing's Approval Rating, a five-length winner of the $125,800 Victoria Park
S. on Woodbine's synthetic surface. His final stakes winner in 2007 was Kathleens Reel, a Lane's
End bred and sold runner.

In addition, no fewer than eight sons and daughters of LEMON DROP KID have hit the board in
graded stakes events this term, including Alexander Castle, Candy Ball, Garda, Holocene, Kid
Mambo, Lickety Lemon, and Sunshine Kid.

Overall, LEMON DROP KID's 14 stakes winners in 2007 have racked up 23 black-type wins.
LEMON DROP KID finished the year in 10th on The Blood-Horse's Leading Sires List--ahead of
Storm Cat, Unbridled’s Song, Mr. Greeley, Tale of the Cat, etc.-- with progeny earnings of nearly
$6.4 million.
