First runners hit the track in 2009

UPDATE:

The success enjoyed by Northern Afleet opened the door for his three-parts-brother Act of Duty to obtain
a shot in Florida. By Northern Afleet’s grandsire, Mr. Prospector – who himself began his stud career in the
Sunshine State – out of the Nureyev mare, Nuryette, Act of Duty was a $3,600,000 yearling.

Act of Duty had nine individual winners with his first crop two-year-olds last year, and one of that crop, Fly
By Phil gave him honors as the first sophomore stallion of 2010 to be represented by a stakes winner
when upsetting the Tropical Park Derby (gr. III). Making his stakes debut, off maiden and allowance wins
on at Calder, Fly By Phil returned to that surface and won the Sam F. Davis Stakes (gr. III), with his next
step on the Triple Crown trail.

ACT OF DOMINANCE....2007 Chestnut colt by first crop up and coming prior Darley owned racehorse and now
Fl sire "ACT OF DUTY", out of a mare that has produced a stakes and track record setting individual. He is a big, tall,
strong, long striding individual, possibly about 16.2 hands and bred for classic distance races on both dirt or turf. He
has great conformation and a real powerful mover. He is definitely a credit to his dam and an eye catching handsome
individual. Note that pedigree bloodline cross has produced 8 stakes winners with 3 of them being graded. This colt
has had bullet impressive works. He seems to be more of a two turn, classic distance individual with turf attributes.
Simply an Awesome looking individual at any level or discipline !

Note: His 2 Year Old brother has had a second place finish and a win in two starts and is now poised for a stake
race on 8/28/10. Dominance will also suit multi disciplines with his athletic size, great temperament and free
flowing...fluid movement.

STALLION ACT OF DUTY IS CURRENTLY HOT !

UPDATE: Act of Duty debutante impresses at Saratoga

08/28/09

J Z's Revenge, a 2-year-old filly from the first crop of Act of Duty, impressed in her second career start, winning a
$50,000 maiden special weight heat in stylish fashion at Saratoga on August 27th.

Trained by Steve Asmussen for Zayat Stables, the dark bay filly rallied from off the pace in the stretch and proved
best in the well-bred field, winning by a length and a quarter. The final time for five furlongs was 59 seconds flat.

"I always liked (J Z's Revenge)," said Zayat Stables manager Sobhy Sonbol, who acquired the filly privately as a
yearling. "She just looked like a fast racehorse, and that's exactly what I want. She moved great and was a very pretty
filly. She convinced us that she could compete at this level."

J Z's Revenge was bred in Florida by Lau-Mor Farms, LLC from the Mountain Cat mare Star Mountain.

UPDATE: Son of Act of Duty wins Tropical Park Derby (G3)

01/02/10

Fly by Phil, a 3-year-old by Act of Duty, kicked off the New Year in style with a graded stakes victory in the

$100,000 Tropical Park Derby (G3) Jan. 1 at Calder Race Course.

Making his stakes debut and first start on grass, Fly by Phil showed an affinity for the turf by digging in determinedly in
the stretch of the 1 1/8-mile race for newly-turned 3-year-olds. His head hit the wire first, stopping the clock in 1:52.89
over a yielding course.

Trained by Kathleen O'Connell, Fly by Phil earned a lifetime-high Beyer Speed Figure of 88, making him a serious
player in the stakes picture for 3-year-olds this season in south Florida. He improved his stellar record to three wins
and a pair of seconds from five starts, moving his earnings to $101,100 for owner and breeder Gilbert G. Campbell.
Prior to his graded stakes triumph Friday, Fly by Phil broke his maiden and won an allowance race on dirt at Calder,
and he now has won three straight.

Fly By Phil returned to that surface and won the Sam F. Davis Stakes (gr. III), with his next step on the Triple Crown
trail.
